The very first writing published on andywrites.wtf
Write a book, Andy.
I have long said I wanted to write a book. I have started a dozen of them and abandoned them all for one reason or another. There’s never really been a subject or idea that stuck with me that made me feel the desire to write about it. At least not in a continuing way that would allow for a book to be finished. I lose interest, side quest away from it, or just simply dislike it and never touch it again. But I write, A LOT, and I may have found the subject to keep me writing a book, which is me. I’m the subject, the views are my own, the experiences belong to me, and the time has come to write about them all.
I actually started writing the Book of Andy (not the actual title) earlier in the year, back in January 2026. I started writing two different chapters, in no particular order, with the idea of telling my stories through a lense of blurred non-fiction, anonymized nouns, and enough weight to make the reader feel it. The readers, if any, will hopefully walk away with a new perspective on life. Not everyone in the world gets the same opportunities, life is not fair, and some people traverse life in ways most people simply cannot comprehend due to their inability to see the world through the eyes of anyone else. They are blind to everything outside their own personal experiences and lives. They judge, complain, insinuate, point fingers, and grasp for straws when presented with anything that doesn’t fit inside their box. My goal is for the reader to open their stupid fucking eyes and realize the world is not full of goodness for all. Goodness does indeed come and go for all, but for some it is fleeting and of low quality with strings attached. Having lived a life of fleeting goodness while being told throughout it that I reap what I sow is what I think pushed me towards starting the Book of Andy. A person doesn’t deserve fleeting goodness in their life, they deserve an even playing field with an abundance of goodness for the taking and a supportive system around them to ensure they take as much of that goodness for themselves as they possibly can. But alas, that does not happen for some. Like me. I wasn’t given an even playing field. I wasn’t given the support system I needed to find my own goodness to keep forever. I was given the hard road, the road that is far less traveled due to its dangerous curves, steep mountains, and deep valleys, but nevertheless ends at the same destination. And so I will write about the travels I’ve taken so far in my hundred or so lifetimes on this stupid planet that will inevitabely lead to this same destination: death.

So when will the book be done? Probably never. And it’s not going to be a book now. It’s going to live here, on andywrites.wtf, along with a multitude of other writings. Nothing will be in any sort of sequential order. Whatever I write will show up unannounced, be well thought out, based in truth, and most likely not what you’d expect.
In Closing
My writings are not for you. They are for me. I share them with you with the hope of helping you in some way. If after reading this site and my writings you do not feel something that you didn’t before you came then I will assume you’re someone who cannot think critically, look inward, or expand your box. Which is all the more reason you should continue reading my writings. At some point I think something here may resonate with you, and that, my friend, will be a good thing.
